“Memories are a way of keeping the past alive, some are so painful we never want to visit them again. But a memory can also be a gift, something we can open again and again in order to fill ourselves with happiness.”
Kyle xy, Season 3, Episode 8 “Tell-Tale heart”
Assalamualaikum & greetings to all,
Just a quote which meant so much for those who cherries all the memories. Some memories which i loved to share with all.
A wedding that we (me & my familiy, my dearest mom, my sister and as well as my brother who lives in Sg. Petani, Kedah) attended on 30 May 2009. All the way from KL going down to Sg. Petani. Actually is not just about the wedding. It’s about everything. Everything that keep the past alive in us. Eventhough, it’s been 16 years, but it seems like everything just happened yesterday.
The purpose is to attend the wedding invitation by my mom dearest friends, we call her ‘mak cak’ – it means the eldest in the family. They becomes friends from the 1st day we moved in Sg Petani. The warmth welcome from mak cak’s families members made us feel comfortable and happy. Since that day, both our families shares everything – laughther, sadness etc.
We’r taking the opportunities to strengthen the unique bondage. Having seen them for years, the short visit paid back! Lets the pics says all..
My mom & mak cak – best friend forever. Mak cak is a teacher. They spent most of their times together. Went to Surau, cooking, gossiping, even campaining for the candidate for the election! Speechless..
This is pak cak – the coolest man. Soft spoken and patient.
Abang Ally – a sweet guy. The man with blue shirt. We used to play when we r small. Still maintain cool. Hardly speak but u’ll always had his smile. Still single. Can’t forget the way he stares ..mm?
Abg An with me and madihah. A handsome guy. We used to play masak2 togther. Still single and currently working in KL. (well.. nasib la aku dah kawin ye
)
Intan – the ‘pengantin’. The pink lady is my sister. We used to bullied her while playing ‘masak2′. Very soft spoken. The reunion of 3 intan!
This is the main table for ‘Pengantin’. I was make known that Intan do it all by her self with lil help from mak cak. There is no ‘pelamin’ but the wedding was still going on ‘meriah’!
After the kenduri, we were thinking to drop by and see my father but sadly he’s not at home. Apparantly, that was part of the big plan all the way down from KL. Maybe, x ada rezeki. May Allah bless him.
On the way back, we did make a few round in town. Going back to see my old school.
To all, this is my old school. Lot’s of memories here. What i am today was built from here. The culture, the way im doing things, my thinking, all the exposures – im so grateful having my friends and teachers supporting me!
Some more, visiting the usual place – ‘kedai makan bus stand’ where me & my chinese friends do to ‘lepak’ after our scouting activities on Saturday. Everything is still the same. People change but nothing can change the memories. I really miss my friends very much.. Hoping to see them..
Sadly, we had to rush back on the next day. A very short and sweet visit. But, i’ll be back..
Later
